SAM WRIGHT
Director
Accredited Practising Dietitian, Accredited Sport Dietitian, Credentialed Eating Disorder Dietitian

I’m Sam Wright, an Accredited Practising DietitianAccredited Sports DietitianCredentialed Eating Disorder Clinician, and the owner of Wright Dietitian. I graduated with a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (Honours) from the University of Newcastle and have spent my career helping clients achieve lasting health and wellbeing through evidence-based, personalised nutrition care.

My approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and meeting each client where they are at. I have specialist expertise in sports nutrition, eating disorders, bariatric care, chronic disease management, geriatric nutrition, weight loss medication support, and disability/NDIS nutrition. I work closely with each client to create practical, sustainable strategies that fit their lifestyle, goals, and health needs.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about staying active and challenging myself, whether it’s running marathons, riding, hiking, or swimming. I also enjoy reading, travelling, and spending quality time with my fur baby Luna, a 6-year-old German Shepherd and the official CEO of Wright Dietitian.

I’m committed to empowering clients to feel confident, informed, and supported on their journey toward better health.

Luna
Chief Morale Officer

I’m Luna, the 6-year-old German Shepherd and official Chief Morale Officer at Wright Dietitian.

My job? Making sure everyone stays happy, motivated, and occasionally reminded that naps are important too. I love balls, chasing balls, going on walks, and supervising Sam. I am very social and love making friends.

I am a bit boring with my food and like to keep it the same every night, but love my after dinner treat, because treats are important. My main role in is simple: keep morale high.

I like to think I’m doing my part to keep the practice happy, healthy, and full of tail wags.
